Pro Ring

Koda is ready for summer with her Aerobie ring! Owner Laura Magowan writes, “I found this one day and the dog loves it so much we trained her with it! She’ll stay right there in hopes you will throw the Aerobie.” Have fun, you two!

Stefano Campanini of Italy loves playing catch with Aerobie rings, but he was finding it difficult to do so at night — until he was struck by a brainwave. Stefano writes, “The other day I found some small LED lights, light enough, and we got the idea to apply them to one of your Rings to play at night. Thanks to this we can play even in total darkness.” Here, the LED lights trace incredible patterns in the sky as the ring wings through the night.

CiCi relaxes with her Aerobie rings after a session of fetch in Prospect Park in Brooklyn, NY, USA. Owner Sandy Sobanski writes, “CiCi luvs her Aerobies! Prospect Park near us has hundreds of dogs off leash in the mornings and evenings. It is a very famous place. Parkslope is doggie heaven. Swimming, large fields, hiking paths and tons of old trees for shade.”

“My son and I just returned from a trip of a lifetime … an African trek to the highest point on the continent (Mt. Kilimanjaro) and the animal parks including the Serengeti. Throughout our journey, we took our lightweight Aerobie Pro ring for fun and to make friends. It was wildly successful at both. On July 2nd, we climbed in the darkness to 19,340 ft (5894 meters) above sea level to reach the summit glaciers of Kilimanjaro. At dawn, we stood on one of the ‘Seven Summits’ and threw the Aerobie in the thin air to celebrate. As far as I can tell on the Internet, there are no reported Aerobie games at higher elevations. Even if this isn’t the highest Aerobie game in history, it gave us smiles all around and even on the trip up helped us to make friends on the mountain with other climbers, guides, and local porters. What great memories! Thanks for your unique ‘international diplomacy’ tool.”

Sprint Ring

Chris Baker sent us this photo of her friend Harry discovering a box of Sprint rings in her garage! Chris writes, “I have a case of small Aerobies under a utility table in the garage. I went out there this morning to tape up a mail order return box for UPS. Harry had followed me out to ‘help’ and I was busy taping up the box and heard some stealthy noises under the table…Harry found the case of Aerobies (he is obsessed with them!) and was trying to figure out how to get one out with the cardboard packaging still on!” Here, Harry dives in and comes up with two rings at once!

“When my fiancée and I were deciding on wedding favours I wanted to give all the guests a practical memento of the day. As a passionate Aerobie flyer/flinger/thrower/player I suggested Aerobies printed with our names and the date to commemorate the happy day. All place settings were marked with a commemorative Sprint ring which were extremely popular with all the guests. Uncle Colin can be seen juggling with 3 rings in the lower left corner and later in the evening improvised games of hoopla developed using all manner of objects the 10″ (25 cm) ring fits over: bottles, chair legs, arms & heads to name a few. Not all guests went home with a ring as some children were seen leaving with their arms covered.” – Sam Neilson, United Kingdom

She’s always with her frizz as we call it. Her dad plays frisbee golf and she does too. It is her favorite thing to do in the whole world. Doesn’t care for a ball. Epic Golf Disc

“My brother Jeff and I were practicing with our new golf discs at home in Lake St. Louis, when I tried to slice the Aerobie Epic through a narrow gap between some cedar trees. The disc lifted way higher than I expected and stopped cold in the foliage, dropping into the ground. This left us with a truly Epic photo opportunity for Jeff!” – Jason Phillips, Lake St. Louis, MO, USA. Photo credit: Jeff Phillips

Skylighter Disc

Evan Skoczenski took this stunning shot of the Skylighter disc against the starry night sky at the top of Artist Point on Mt. Baker in Washington state, USA. Due to the technique Evan describes, he was able to capture the Skylighter disc coming and going in the same photo. Evan writes: “In the photo my girlfriend and I have the whole parking lot to ourselves, along with a breathtaking view of the Milky Way above. I put my camera on a tripod and switched it to bulb mode so I could keep the shutter open as long as I needed, this is how I picked up the disk soaring across the parking lot and back, as well as picking up the Milky Way above.”

Kelly Young-Wolff of Atherton, California, USA writes: “My 6 month old puppy, Bentley, absolutely loves the Aerobie. He’s a rescue bulldog/border collie/Australian shepherd from the shelter. He has a ton of energy and the Aerobie is the only thing that keeps me sane because Bentley has so much energy and while he is not interested in balls, he will chase the Aerobie for hours! We recently bought the Dogobie as well, and he especially loves that one because he can easily play tug of war with the Dogobie with other dogs without it breaking.”
