in Afghanistan

U.S. Army soldiers enjoy playing Aerobie on the rooftop of the world near the Salang Tunnel in Central Afghanistan's Hindu Kush Mountains at almost 11,000 (3,350 meters) feet elevation.

Camp Phoenix and Camp Blackhorse of 2-116 Field Artillery from Lakeland, Florida get together once a week in Kabul, Afghanistan for a rousing game of "Aerobie football" that provides a welcome change of pace from their normal daily activities. Steven Knox reports that, "The game helps keep us motivated and upbeat about our deployment."

"Children in the town of Dushi, Afghanistan play with Aerobies presented to them by soldiers of the U.S.-led Coalition forces during Operation Enduring Freedom."
